What we do
The Friends of Little Snake River History is a new organization aiming to help preserve history in the area around the Little Snake River Valley in South-Central Wyoming, Northern Colorado and Southwestern Utah. We will be fundraising to help with historical projects in the area. We will also be helping local entities to further preserve history and make locations more accessible for all. We aim to augment local entities and fill in beyond their boundaries.

You can help
You can join us in planning, fundraising or implementing projects. There is always some area where you can help. This summer we will be fundraising to help restore the Divide Sheep Camp summer headquarter cabin. We hope to be working with the Little Snake River Museum and the Wyoming Conservation Corps as they restore the cabin and grounds located in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Eventually this cabin will be on one of our driving tours which will guide interested parties to sites of interest in the area. You can bring an historical project to our attention or apply for a grant to do the work yourself.

We will be working on getting these projects up and going. Please stay tuned, or contact us if you would like to help.
